Berry Presidential

Whatever side of the political spectrum you fall on, you will love this drink. It's classy and packs a punch of energy. It also sounds bad-ass.

Ingredients:

  • Raspberry vodka
  • Blueberry Redbull
  • Raspberry Flavoring

    Americano

The name of the drink is an homage to Primo Carnera, who was the first Italian boxer (and the first non-American) to win the world heavyweight championship in the U.S.A.

    Ingredients:

    • Campari
    • Sweet vermouth
    • Club soda
    • Lemon twist or orange peel for garnish

      Income Tax

This citrus-sweetened mix of gin and vermouth is great for taking the edge off during tax season, but it goes down easy any time of year.

      Ingredients:

      • Gin
      • Dry vermouth
      • Sweet vermouth
      • Orange juice
      • Angostura bitters
      • Orange twist for garnish

        Walking Dead (AKA Zombie)

Legend has it that Donn Beach originally concocted the Zombie to help a hung-over customer get through a business meeting. The customer returned several days later to complain that he had been turned into a zombie for his entire trip.

        Ingredients:

        • Light Rum
        • Splashes of lime
        • Pineapple juice
        • Orange juice
        • Garnished with fruit
        • Topped with Bacardi 151

          Corpse Reviver No. 2

After experiencing a Walking Dead, you'll need a pick me up. Nothing better than the Corpse Reviver. Supposed to be potent enough to revive a dead person.

          Ingredients:

          • Gin
          • Cointreau
          • Lillet Blanc
          • Fresh lemon juice
          • A dash of absinthe

            Hanky Panky

Ada Coleman created the Hanky-Panky in 1925 for Hawtrey. He was a Victorian and Edwardian actor. What a great name for a drink!

            Ingredients:

            • Gin
            • Sweet vermouth
            • Fernet Branca
            • Orange twist

              Aviation

The first published recipe for the drink appeared in Ensslin's 1916 Recipes for Mixed Drinks. This is a delicious blue-purple-colored drink. The color comes from the Creme de Violette, which adds light floral notes to the gin drink.

              Ingredients:

              • Dry Gin
              • Maraschino liqueur
              • Fresh lemon juice
              • Creme de Violette

                Blood and Sand

It's one of the few classic mixed drinks that includes Scotch whisky. It was named for Rudolph Valentino's 1922 bullfighter movie Blood and Sand.

                Ingredients:

                • Scotch whisky
                • Sweet vermouth
                • Cherry Heering
                • Orange peel

                  Tokyo Ice Tea

The Tokyo Ice Tea cocktail recipe sounds a lot like the Long Island Iced Tea at first, and not just because of the name. Gin, vodka, rum, tequila – it's a white liquor extravaganza. But after that, the similarity ends.

                  Ingredients:

                  • Tequila
                  • Rum
                  • Vodka
                  • Gin
                  • Watermelon liquor
                  • Sweet & sour soda water
                  • Garnished with lime wedges and kiwi

                    Penicillin

Originally created by New York bartender Sam Ross, the Penicillin Cocktail takes the warming, soothing flavors of honey, lemon juice and fresh ginger, and fortifies them with a good dose of scotch whisky.

                    Ingredients:

                    • Scotch whisky
                    • Fresh lemon juice
                    • Honey-ginger syrup
                    • Islay single malt Scotch
